(on the Malmö-Karskrona route), about 35 km from here. From Karlshamn
it is possible to take #370 bus, which stops just 200 m from our place.
However, this bus runs very seldom, only twice a day except Saturdays..
All other weekdays, one has to go by car. Contact us and we might be able to

with pick-up at the train station in Karlshamn.
By air
These are the airports most convenientely accessible from here. If the plan is
to
stay for a few
days we recommend that you rent a car since bus routes are
few and
buses run infrequently.
Karlskrona/Ronneby
The nearest airport is Ronneby/Karlskrona Airport at Kallinge. From here,
SAS (www.sas.com and Blekingeflyg (www.blekingeflyg.se) fly on the
Stockholm route. Blekingeflyg is also flying to Visby, Gotland during
summer, check with airline for information about this destination. There
are possibilities for car rental at the airport. Also, bus #240 runs from
Ronneby to Tingsryd. At Tingsryd we can arrange pick-up.
Växjö
The other airport nearby, and our main airport is Smaland Airport in
Växjö. Two airlines fly to Stockholm, FlySmaland to Stockholm, Bromma
and
Skyways to Stockholm, Arlanda. There are also two routes to and from
Germany; FlySmaland to Berlin, and Ryanair to Düsseldorf.
Copenhagen
If you arrive by plane and your plan is to visit the south of Sweden only, we
recommend that you fly to Copenhagen, Denmark rather than Stockholm.
The Oresund Bridge allows easy access to the south of Sweden, as the airport
is also a stop on the train route between Copenhagen and Malmö in the south
of Sweden. Some trains stopping at the airport are direct service trains to
Karlskrona, Blekinge. If you want to visit us, the best way is to take a train
from Copenhagen airport and get off at Karlshamn (on the Malmö-Karlskrona
route) which is 35 km from our place. The train takes about two and a half
hours. Some trains have their final stop at Malmö where you will need to
change trains to the Karlskrona route. If you have any questions or need any
advice or recommendations, do not hesitate to contact us. |
